i don't want anyone swinging my bat or any of my teammate's bats either, especially if all the bats are passing a compression test anyway. i understand the point that's trying to be made but it is what it is. if nobody digs into another team's bucket then it doesn't really matter; we'll just have to see how it plays out. i know for sure nobody on our team will go into another team's bucket; no point too

Two words "SAN BAGGING" Not enough teams in the major to justify two tournaments.

if anyone digs in our team's bucket then we'll be forced to dig into our bucket too...that's how we roll. it makes sense if you don't think about it. i'm going to write my name on my bat in crayon so everyone knows which is mine

We all swing burghardts bats you and you swing ours. and then after the game talk about who had the better bats. just for the hell of it.

A valid question to this rule Graser. Say someone goes into the other team's bucket and grabs a bat they feel was really good. They then hit the pitcher and the bat is found to be altered in one way or another. Would their be any penalty? It is a member of the pitcher's team to begin with. Going to nice to swing Joe James' bat though, bang the mud of my turfs, maybe hit a post on accident. Sorry about your valuable Freak (98) as you say.

I really don't know the answer. This is hardly my Rule but what came of the meeting and by no means is it perfect at all. I give them credit for trying something. I don't really see the need to have me swinging another teams bats that passed compression testing. That I am not in favor for. Especially cause therestill is a protest ability to have a bat retested.

I ask the question Graser because I think we all know it will come up.
