So who else had bats pass at the begining of the year and get screwed in the latest round of preplayoff testing? I took in a blue rage techfire, miken nrg, miken viscous, miken freak(newer green and black model), miken recoil and combat antivirus. Freak and combat passed, the rest failed. I'll give ya the nrg it has alot of games on it but the other three that failed aren't even past the 150 game mark yet.

Sal's brought in 17 bats. I believe 14 passed. My old school flex was not one of them. She finally failed.

KA took in 20 bats 4 failed but 3 already failed at ASA state so that wasn't much of a suprise.

Yup can't use them. They don't get new sticker. All bats will be retested on Thursday and Friday. Also teams will be allowed to protest bats on Wednesday.

What would cause a bat to pass the test once but fail it on a re-try?

a) shaved it b) rolled the shit out of it c) it passed at the beginning of the year, you put 200 - 1000 hits on it since then so now its too hot when broken in

I am unfamiliar with how they test the bats and can't find anything on the Milwaukee Rec Website that states what the guidelines are, can anyone help me out?

all 4 of my bats passed at asa state 5 weeks ago and all 4 failed at city playoff testing....2 rip reapers, extended, and a helmer. i heard someone gave them a mayhem bat to test at begining of the year it passed...he told them leave it in the office so he could have it for the playoffs...and it failed sitting in the office all summer w/o a swing on it since passing wtf

my stance on the bats is that everyone complained when people were "cheating" and that created a unfair advantage, now that we have a machine that holds the bats to the same standard we complain about that. Yes i understand some of the bats are completely stock and are failing, but everyone is on the same standard. Its better this way than the old way. Its the first year of this give city a chance to work it all out. no one bat failing that should have passed is gonna make the difference of who is gonna win it all this week.
