Do you have a new or slightly used softball bat that you don't think has the pop it should? We can help, we'll break in your bat by hitting around 100 or so softballs (or more if you'd like) that are pitched from a pitching machine or live person. The balls will be pitched at regular slow pitch speed and the balls used are mix of:
1. 44/375 x-rocks 2. 44/375 dudley thunder heats 3. 52/300 x-rocks 4. Trump bp balls
This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would, as we'll be taking normal hard game type swings. The $10 fee is for just 1 bat if you send more then 1 bat at a time we can discount the rate. This service is for new or slightly used bats
Not responsible for cracked/broken/spider webbed bats.

this did make me lol....so you are doing two things here...1. taking bp with other peoples bats, so you don't really have to swing your own and 2. allowing lazy people to be really lazy.
Good luck with your endeavor.

All I'm offering is to put swings on bats that aren't broke in. Just an idea I had figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested.

Good luck with your endeavor. 1. We have plenty of our own bats to hit with. We hit quite a bit and have the opportunity to hit actual softballs and not dimple cage balls. 2. Lazy people or busy people. It's a legal alternative to rolling. At least this would be a legitimate way to break in a bat if you dont want to or have time to take swings. I dont see the issue with the post. If you think its dumb then do so and keep it to yourself. If you want to post your sarcastic remarks you can open your own thread and do so there.

3. people can say whatever they want
i'll shoot holes in this...651 area code is Saint Paul, MN so if i wanted a bat broken in i would pay $12 shipping then another $10 for you to swing my bat. so i'm paying $22 to have my bat "legally" broken in by someone putting 100 swings on it when i can pay $10 at most to put more swings on it myself.
so if i have a new pre-abi bat that requires 500+ swings until its broken in i just wasted $22 because your 100 swings won't get it to that point. if i buy a post-abi bat that breaks in very quick and somehow it cracks when you swing it around hit #100 then you're not liable and not only am i out $22 but i also now have a warranty return bat to swing, which i will most certainly not be paying you to break in again, meaning i'll be back at square one breaking in the bat myself during BP which defeats the entire purpose of me sending the bat to you to begin with...so i'm fucked out of some cash and a new bat.
finally, rolling a bat isn't going to void your warranty return - that's like saying the manufacturer won't send a warranty return bat for swinging it in sub-70 degree weather.
its great that you're thinking of entrepreneurial ways to earn additional income and help others in the game but if you're not prepared to hear criticism regarding your business than too bad...this is how the real world operates in the business world

Since I'm unable to accept criticism and also am detached from reality, I guess I'm SOL. Sorry.

in response to jeffkohnlein....Yes I do live in Woodbury which is just across the river from hudson, which is where long ball plays. You have valid points, what I'm offering is to take some cuts on bats which people don't have time to swing or don't use them as there gamers. per your abi comment I'll take as many cuts on bat as you'd like all you have to do is ask.
Since I'll be in the cage anyway it was just a thought, I don't mind the criticism since everyone is entitled to there own opinion.
